Get started with HIDDEN
Use the map in the HIDDEN app to find stories and attractions. Tap the markups on the map to get some information even before you're on site. But you often don't get all the content until you get there.
Location data makes the experience interactive and tailored. The HIDDEN app brings something extra for the whole family no matter what kind of trip you are on.
Experience Augmented Reality Content (AR)
In some places you will be able to experience what actually happened via AR technology, known from pokémon go, among others. "Augmented reality" means that digital information is placed on top of images and ambient sound. Stories can thus have new life, if it is trolls fighting, a sea worm that meanders in the water, Edvard Munch's work, the sinking of Blücher or the Battle of Stiklestad.
HIDDEN is included with a "trophy troll" that shows how AR works. HIDDEN is early on with this technology, and eventually the HIDDND platform becomes full of such experiences.
An easily accessible tool at your disposal
HIDDEN's system for entering and editing content is easy to use. Log in via a web browser and explore the many possibilities.
Do you want to enter an audio guide that plays in one particular location? An illustration, a photo, film or music? Or what about ancient texts or beautiful poetry?

HIDDEN and Telia invite to the largest fundraiser of folk lore of all time. Are you sitting with a good story or an old legend?
Have you heard stories of trolls and tussles, caves and underground creatures? Remember when grandma told you why the stone on the field has cracked in half and moves every time the church bells ring? These are the kind of stories we're looking for.
It's been a long time since Asbjørnsen and Moe collected and took care of folk lore stories, and it's time for a new effort to make these amazing stories accessible to everyone using modern technology. Good contributions are put on the map in the HIDDEN app, and will be stored in Svalbard as part of our common cultural heritage.
(The timing of the Svalbard trip is currently uncertain due to the corona crisis.)

Torghatten –
In Northern Norway, a long time ago there was a troll named Hestmannen. He was in love with the beautiful sorcerer Lekamøya. She lived at Landego. One night, Hestmannen saw Lekamøya swimming in the sea at Landego. He had to have her!

The story of the cruel Bal
The legend of Bal is from approx. 400 years back in time when at Balsnes in Ballangen lived a Frenchman, yes, some say he was Danish who was called Bal. Bal reportedly had three large copper mines scattered inside of The Mountain World of Ofoten.

When the Trolls built Våler Church
Many people have wondered about the place choice made when Våler Church was built in the 12th century. It is supposed to be an old pagan cult place, located low in the terrain, down a river bend and on clay ground. In order for the church not to sink into the ground, it shall therefore be laid on a raft of ospet timbers, which supposedly do not rot in clay.
