Move the pin to where the your story happened
Place the cursor where the event occurred. You can drag the cursor around the map. You can also drag the map around to move the area where you need it. Scrolling with the mouse in the map resizes the map. Scrolling with the mouse off the map moves the page itself up and down.
Note: If the settings in your browser do not allow Google Maps to know where you are, you will have a slightly bigger job of placing the cursor where you want.

We appreciate all the information about the story. Is your story documented anywhere? For example, in a book?

For example, you can look it up at the Norwegian National Library and give us the link. Here you will find a link to Nasjonalbiblioteket

Scan or take a picture in good light from a book or other medium, and enter the name and date of the publication.

Do you have your own photographs or illustrations? Or have you seen pictures from history online? Feel free to attach them, but keep in mind that you must have the rights to use the material in order to publish it.

To be included in the draw for a trip to Svalbard, you must have achieved five stars for your story. You get a star in this step by checking the two choices below.

Each story submitted gives you higher chances of winning because each story becomes a "lottery" in the draw.
